Andreas Grüter
Vita
Seit 2010 ist der in Luzern geborene Lichtdesigner Leiter der Beleuchtung der Oper Köln. Während des Studiums der Lichtgestaltung an der Bayerischen Theaterakademie in München assistierte er zunächst bei Produktionen u. a. bei den Bregenzer Festspielen und den Salzburger Festspielen, an der English National Opera und dem National Theatre in London sowie an der Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin. Als freiberuflicher Lichtgestalter entwickelte er das Licht für viele Produktionen, z. B. am Bayerischen Staatsschauspiel München, an der Opéra Marseille, bei den Haydn Festspielen Eisenstadt, an der Welsh National Opera Cardiff, der Volksoper Wien, am Theater an der Wien, an der Scottish Opera Glasgow und dem Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brüssel.
Eine mehrjährige Zusammenarbeit ergab sich mit dem Regisseur und Choreografen Joachim Schloemer bei Produktionen u. a. an der Oper Bonn, am Nationaltheater Mannheim, Theater Freiburg und beim Lucerne Festival. Die Bayreuther Festspiele verpflichteten ihn für »Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg« (Regie: Katharina Wagner), die Wiener Staatsoper für »Moses und Aron« und »Elektra«, die Oper Frankfurt für »Rusalka« und die Ruhrtriennale für »Le vin herbé«, »Leila und Madschnun« sowie im Sommer 2011 für »Tristan und Isolde« (Regie: Willy Decker). An der Pariser Opéra Bastille war er im Oktober 2018 Lichtdesigner bei Meyerbeers »Les Huguenots« (Regie: Andreas Kriegenburg), bei den Salzburger Festspielen 2019 bei Verdis »Simon Boccanegra«.
