Frederik Schauhoff
Vita
Der junge Kölner Bariton Frederik Schauhoff studierte an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in den Klassen von Lioba Braun und Kai Wessel.
Das künstlerische Spektrum des Baritons Frederik Schauhoff reicht von der Renaissance bis zur zeitgenössischen Musik. Seit seinem Studium an der HfMT Köln führen ihn Engagements an die Oper Köln, die Oper Bonn und die Opernhäuser in Münster, Freiburg, Bremen, das Cuvilliéstheater München, das Schloßtheater im Neuen Palais Potsdam, sowie in die Kölner Philharmonie und die Tonhalle Düsseldorf. Dabei konzertiert er mit renommierten Ensembles wie Concerto Köln, Concerto con anima, der Harmonie Universelle, dem Bremer Barockorchester, dem Göttinger Barockorchester und der Manufaktur für aktuelle Musik, sowie auf Festivals wie den Gezeitenkonzerten der ostfriesischen Landschaft, ACHT BRÜCKEN, den Tagen Alter Musik in Herne oder den Wittener Tagen für neue Kammermusik. Darüber hinaus ist Frederik Schauhoff Gründer von MUKK, einem Ensemble, das seine Konzertprogramme mit Kunstwerken verknüpft und gemeinsam mit der Pianistin Franziska Staubach Host des Podcasts „Songs of History".
An der Oper Köln trat er in der Spielzeit 2021.22 in Johannes Wulff-Woestens Kinderoper „Die Geschichte vom Fuchs, der den Verstand verlor“ und in der Rolle des 2. Strolches in „Die Kluge“ von Carl Orff auf.
In der Spielzeit 2025.26 wird er als Beelzebub Irrwitzer in „Der Wunschpunsch“ zu hören sein.
